Chef James Lewis is inspired by Italy and inspired by his local ingredients. A passion for Italy has taken him to work and study with Italian culinary masters including our good friend Dario Cecchini of Antica Macelleria in Panzano, Tuscany. (Dario participated in our OITF event in Tuscany last season.) James is one ot the very few American members of the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (APN) AKA Serious Pizza People. Snow’s Bend Farm, James’ farm of choice, is located an hour outside Birmingham near Tuscaloosa. David and Margaret Ann came to our event at Jones Valley Urban Farm back in 2010 and are excited to host us in the country this time around. Check out their website. What a sweet farm!
